Sabine has a decade of training and work experience in a broad range of psychological settings in both London and Hong Kong. Naturally empathetic and patient with a tendency to remain curious whilst empowering her clients.
Registered with the British Counselling of Psychotherapy and Counselling, Sabine also continues to work toward her doctorate in Counselling Psychology conducting research on the lived experience of romantic obsession. Sabine has in-depth knowledge in Existential and Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, as well as in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT). She primarily works pluralistically, drawing from the various theoretical approaches to suit the client's preferences.
Sabine has worked with children, adolescents and adults with the conditions of depression, anxiety, substance abuse, relationship challenges and problems with eating and the body. She has supported people within both community and hospital settings, in private and NHS sectors, to help individuals make sense of and create meaning from their past, present and future circumstances.
